Adult volleyball is in essence difficult to define as many ‘Adult teams’ do have juniors playing in them. Ideally it is usually classed as 16 years plus but quite often is dependent on ability. Anyone is able to submit a team before the start of the season (usually the end of September) as long as they conform to the rules. As mentioned elsewhere on the site, there are quite a number of social and recreational groups in the East Mids area that aren't highlighted on the Club Finder page, so if you are in need of advice on what teams are closest to you, please feel free to contact us.

We have a number of NVL teams in the East Midlands - 14 overall! Although we don't organize the NVL teams in our regions, they are a focal point to the high quality volleyball that is on offer within our regions!

Adult Volleyball News:

Men's Tournament Announced!

The details of the 2020 Men's Regional League Tournament have been announced and emailed to the relevant team secretaries. The tournament has been thought of for the Men's league due to them being separated into East and West and this will give them the chance to play each other once and for all to decide the winners of the League!

The tournament will take place on Saturday 23rd May 2020 from 10:00-18:00 at the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Leisure Centre at DeMontfort University. Further details and advertisements will be announced closer to the day.

Season Update:

Men's East: All teams have played 1 game so far this season, but Kings of Court Boston, Nottingham Casualties, and Nottingham Rockets are currently tied at 3 points each.
Men's West: L&C Polonia currently lead with 6 points after winning their first 2 games.
Women's: Ashfield Vipers and Leicester Athena currently lead this league with 13 points each after winning 4 out of their 5 games.

There lot of games still left to play in this league, so stay tuned and make it to some of your local games to watch and support!
